Argon oxygen furnace (AOD furnace) is mainly used for smelting stainless steel.At different stages of refining process under normal pressure, CO partial pressure in steel can be reduced by blowing different proportion of argon oxygen mixture gas, and carbon oxygen reaction in liquid steel can be promoted, so as to achieve the purpose of decarbonization and chromium conservation.
